Are we victims of a man-made virus? by Senator A. Rehman Malik

This debate is now in advanced stages as the World Health Organisation (WHO) is already evaluating this virus. The opinion is divided but the experts will come up with facts or someone will own it under the pressure of their conscience. The world is inching towards reality by every passing day with new exposures on this issue. Dr Anthony Fauci has endorsed the first part of my demand to the Secretary General United Nations to form a high-powered commission to probe if Covid-19 is man-made or naturally grown. In the second part, I had demanded to locate its origin and patient zero of Covid-19. Dr Anthony Fauci has said that he’s ‘not convinced’ Covid developed naturally and calls for a full investigation.

Earlier, the Nobel Laureate and distinguished Professor Tasuku Honjo of the Kyoto University, the Institute of Advanced Study has stated that all indicators of the Covid-19 suggest that it is a man-made virus. He has even claimed that in case he is proven wrong, he will surrender his Nobel Prize and if he is not proven right then the government of Japan withdraws his award post his death.

Similarly, Japan and Taiwan media have claimed that coronavirus originated in the US, not in China and that some (or many) of the 1400 American deaths attributed to influenza may have in fact have resulted from coronavirus; obviously, this needs a thorough probe. Hence the US cannot be blamed unless a proper investigation is done and a report is submitted by the WHO panel which is evaluating this virus.

On the other hand, on February 14, 2020, the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that they will begin to test individuals with influenza-like illness for the novel coronavirus at public health labs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, and New York City.

The novel coronavirus—Covid-19 continues to spread around the world with panic with many unsubstantiated claims, conspiracy theories, and misinformation about the disease. Soon after the outbreak of coronavirus, a theory about the virus’ origins started, as to who should be made responsible for it. Many claim that the virus didn’t come from nature; but had instead been created in a laboratory as a bioweapon, but similarly, on the other hand, many are claiming it natural. The plain reading of the above information clearly shows that it should be thoroughly investigated on scientific grounds to reveal the facts behind the deadly Covid-19.

The UN needs to examine if it is any sponsored terrorist group that is managing the chain of bio-terrorism ensuring the suspicion and gulf or is it a fight within the world powers or the virus was created to sell vaccines. The global village would like to reach its depth and if the origin is not traced and the investor is not identified then this ‘small deadly virus’ has got the potential to lead the world to World War III. All that has happened cannot be just overlooked and I am sure that some senior virologists will back me in supporting my demand for a pragmatic and transparent investigation from an independent panel of investigators.

This was the reason that I was the first across the world to have written a letter to the Secretary-General United Nations to constitute a high-powered commission consisting of scientists from across the world to thoroughly investigate the origin, nature, structure, and spread of ‘Covid-19’. The formation of a UN Commission on Covid-19 will certainly require the full backing of the international community.

I still insist that it is manmade but the blame cannot be levelled against any country unless a transparent investigation is conducted. Dr Fauci needs to wait for the evaluation report by the panel on Covid-19 headed by the former prime minister of New Zealand Ms. Helen Clark and the sub-panel looking into Patient Zero. The investigator needs to examine and first point out as to how many known and unknown virology labs and have the countries report their locations to the authorities monitoring the implementation of the UN Biological Weapons Convention, 1975.

In my letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on April 3, 2020, I had proposed to constitute a high-powered commission on Covid-19 under the UN Convention on Biological Weapons, 1975 to be comprised of virologists, scientists, professors, researchers, analysts, and experts in the fields of microbiology and virology.

For the proposed UN commission on Covid-19, I in my letter had proposed the following seven ToRs to the UN secretary-general: To accurately identify the location of Covid-19’s origin; the affected countries to provide samples of their coronavirus patients; to identify/locate patient zero, through available statistics; to discover why the behaviour, intensity, and fertility rate of Covid-19 varies from country to country, by using available data; to discover whether Covid-19 is manmade or a naturally-grown virus. If it is manmade, then what is the biological and/or scientific mechanism capable of modifying/re-engineering this virus for use as bio-weapon or a bio-warfare tool; to find out the mechanism of developing or growing this virus without or within the human body, and its survival period on surfaces; to examine the allegations of transporting this virus from one place to other destinations in the world, as a biological warfare tactics; to find out if the virus is a result of genetic modifications or cross-breeding of animals, and if there are precedence of similar viruses being transferred from animals to humans, or being transferred by any type of food.

The world is waiting for the report of the panel which is investigating it but in the meantime, the UN should make public as to how many virology labs and biowarfare labs are functioning in the world and what is the monitoring mechanism. I hope the WHO panel will also suggest the measures to overcome such a pandemic in the future.

I would like to conclude that this one gram of virus has brought the world to halt. I hope the Bill Gates foundation will help in this probe under the able guidance of Mr. Bill Gates who had also predicted in 2015-2017 that there would be a virus that will kill millions of people across the world.

Let us pray for a Covid-free world. Meanwhile, I would like to request the WHO to also clarify about the propaganda that microchips will be injected with the Covid-19 vaccine as it is misleading many people across the world.

SENATOR A. REHMAN MALIK REACHES THE PALESTINIAN EMBASSY, EXPRESSES SOLIDARITY, CONDEMNS ISRAELI ATROCITIES

Senator A. Rehman Malik writes to Secretary General UN urging him to constitute a high powered Peace Delegation with members from all faiths to visit Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv

Former Interior Minister and Chairman Institute of Research and Reforms Senator A. Rehman Malik today on Thursday reached Palestinian Embassy in Islamabad wherein he met with Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed Rafi and expressed his solidarity with him. He strongly condemned the Israel's barbaric aggression and urged the world to break its silence over the Israeli’s atrocities. He expressed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences with oppressed people of Palestine. He said that Pakistani nation stands by their Palestinian brothers and sisters and express their solidarity with the heroic and brave people of Palestine.

He said that so far, the Israeli airstrikes have killed more than 220 Palestinians including 63 children and 36 women, with 1,530 people wounded, yet the world, including the United Nations have turn a blind eye to the massacre of innocent Palestinians.

Senator Rehman Malik while speaking to media outside Palestinian embassy said that he has written letter to Secretary General United Nation to constitute a high power delegation consisting of renowned religious leaders from all faiths, political figures, and human rights activists to visit Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv to make both sides sit together and announce measures for a permanent peace between Palestine and Israel. He also made the letter public and distributed copies of the letter among the journalists. He stated that the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has divided the world into two civilizations and we are inching to World War III. “Indeed it is time for you Secretary General UN) to hear the cries of Palestinians and intervene by ignoring the vetoes of the world mighty power which are not bigger than the creator of this world. I fully realize it is a very sensitive issue,” his letter reads.

Senator Rehman Malik in his letter has proposed the Secretary General UN to constitute a high powered delegation consisting of renowned religious leaders from all faiths, political figures, and human rights activists to visit Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv to make both sides sit together and announce measures for a permanent peace between Palestine and Israel.

He added that let the victim parties be heard and suggest a permanent solution hence a peace delegation under the interfaith charter of the UN be constituted enabling it to visit Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv. He has proposed the following mandate to convince Israel and Hamas. The mandate he proposed includes to halt the inter-fight forthwith, no more land grabbing by Israel, working out a corridor allowing the stakeholders to perform their religious duties adding that Kartarpur type corridor should be built around the Masjid Al-Aqsa with separate entrances duly agreed by the stakeholders. It also included that no arms of any kind shall be allowed in Masjid Al-Aqsa and UN peacekeepers should provide security for the mosque till special security by actual stakeholders in place.

The former Interior Minister proposes that the peace delegation may include Imam of the Grand Mosque Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Pope Francis, Italy, and The Chief Rabbinate of Israel as proposed by Israel and Head of United Nations Human Rights Council.

Al-Aqsa tragedy: Deceptive and cowardly by Senator A. Rehman Malik

Unfortunately, the dreadful cries of Palestinian women and children are going unheard by the heads of Muslim countries and the relevant forums. The voiceless, helpless, and oppressed Palestinians and Kashmiris both are being massacred and the world remains a silent spectator with a dead conscience. The Muslim world is hesitant to get its act together to give some befitting and result-oriented response to Israel, while non-Muslim associates of Israel including the US have openly extended full support to Israel undertaking to protect it.

The poor and unarmed Palestinians are termed to be a security threat to mighty Israel whereas Israel is using highly modern weaponry; how can the poor children and unarmed Palestinians be a security threat while Israel has invaded their territory and assaulted their dignity and honour?

Last week alone, more than 60 children were killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza, yet the world, including the United States, is supporting this worst atrocity.

A ten-year-old Khalid while crying told a reporter, “Every time there’s an airstrike we become scared. Every time we try to go out when we get to the front door, there’s another airstrike and we run back inside as fast as we can. Every time I put my head on the pillow, there’s another airstrike.”

Health authorities have confirmed that so far, the Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 220 Palestinians including 63 children and 36 women, with 1,530 people wounded. Reportedly on the other side, so far 12 people were killed in Israel with no casualty of the minor. The number of casualties on both sides shows as to who is involved in aggression and cruelty against the humanity. I do not even like the killing of the other side as no killing of a human can be justified in any religion. The question is; what is the solution to halt this ongoing war, why has the UN not acted to a ceasefire?

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan called Israel a “terror state” and claimed that Ankara had launched initiatives to mobilise international institutions. Speaking at an event in Istanbul, Erdogan called on all Muslim countries and the international community to take “effective” steps against Israel. The question arises my dear President, what measures will you announce to de-recognise Israel and will you block your export of billions of dollars to Israel? Announcing the measures and acting in reality is altogether different. Mr President, here the question arises; why has Turkey not announced to stop the export of billions of dollars to give a strong setback to Israel? Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has urged all nations to condemn Israel’s “brutal and cruel crime” against Palestinians in the wake of the latest Mideast escalation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that the current escalation between Israel and Palestine poses a direct threat to Russia’s security. Russian Foreign Minister said that this development of events is received with deep concern in Moscow and “we strongly condemn attacks against civilians, we call on all parties to refrain from any steps fraught with the escalation of violence.”

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has called on the UN Security Council to seek an early de-escalation of violence between Israel and Gaza’s Hamas rulers. He also blamed the US for the council’s lack of action so far. “Regrettably, the council has so far failed to reach an agreement, with the United States standing on the opposite side of international justice.”

“We condemn the Israeli takeover of Palestinian homes in Jerusalem,” Prince Faisal said in his opening speech during the emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He said “East Jerusalem is Palestinian land that we do not accept harm to. The international community must intervene urgently to put an end to Israeli practices.” The OIC statement came after a virtual meeting in which Saudi Arabia condemned the violation of the sanctity of Muslim holy sites and evictions of Palestinians from their homes in East Jerusalem. There have only been statements condemning Israel’s aggression but no practical move.

The analysis of the above statements shows not more than lip service to the Palestinians and they have come under false hopes wherein there have been no collective solid moves to halt Israel to stop genocide. Why are the Muslim leaders not daring to take aggressive steps? Neighbouring countries like Jordan, Egypt, and others are not even closing their borders with Israel. Why Turkey has has not yet denounced the recognition of Israel as Turkey was the first Muslim-majority country to recognise Israel in 1949.

Let there be the following resolution by OIC: “OIC is hereby resolute that Israel is warned to halt the killing of innocent Palestinians with immediate effect, otherwise OIC will be forced to move the force under the OIC charter and member Muslims will be asked for their troops to place at the disposal of the OIC, enabling it to bring peace and stop the mass killings.”

The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide approved and proposed for signature and ratification or accession by General Assembly resolution 260 A (III) of 9 December 1948 that came into force on 12 January 1951, in accordance with article XIII. The Contracting Parties, having considered the declaration made by the General Assembly of the United Nations in its resolution 96 (I) dated 11 December 1946 that genocide is a crime under international law, contrary to the spirit and aims of the United Nations and condemned by the civilised world, recognising that at all periods of history genocide has inflicted great losses on humanity, and being convinced that, in order to liberate mankind from such an odious scourge, international co-operation is required.

Article 2 of the Convention defines genocide as “any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such:

Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

The above crimes against oppressed Palestinians are continued by Israel and liable to be punished under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of genocide. Is Israel not guilty of genocide like India in Kashmir?

Pakistan calls for deployment of international protection force in Palestine: FM Qureshi

But, sadly as earlier, since 1972, the US has vetoed more than 40 UNSC resolutions critical to Israel and this time again the US twice blocked resolutions over the last week that would have condemned Israel’s atrocities and the genocide of Palestinians and called for a ceasefire.

The women and children under aggression are asking Almighty Allah that is Israel mightier than UN and the world as a whole. If the Muslim world has failed to halt the killings, then at least they should make a peace effort with the help of the international community. A peace delegation should visit Masjid Al-Aqsa and Gaza with the following mandate and proposal to Israel and Hamas:

To halt the inter-fight forthwith; no more land grabbing by Israel; working out a corridor allowing the stakeholders to perform their religious duties; A Kartarpur type corridor should be built around the Masjid Al-Aqsa with separate entrances duly agreed by the stakeholders; no arms of any kind will be allowed in Masjid Al-Aqsa; and UN peacekeepers will provide security for the mosque till special security by actual stakeholders in place.

In addition, some respectable and international dignitaries of repute may be added. Let it be done as soon as possible to give relief to both sides and to end the miseries of victims. This delegation shall visit under the ownership of the UN via official notification.

Mighty Israel versus a compromised world by Senator A. Rehman Malik

A planted tiny country in 1947 is growing like a monster unchecked within the Arab-rich region and it is a sorry state of affairs that the Muslim Ummah has no collective power or force or a joint plan to stop the genocide of Palestinian Muslims at the hands of Israel. The cries of innocent women and children are muted under the roaring Israeli fighter jets and unprecedented bombing. Remember these cries can be extended by Israel to other neighbouring countries to fulfil their belief in the “promised holy land” as per their illicit propaganda. I have narrated some historic facts in reference to present and future designs of Israel. It is not only in Palestine, but thousands of Kashmiris, Kurds, Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqi, Afghanis, Yemenis, and Rohingyan, etc., helpless poor Muslims are getting killed but the Muslim Ummah has utterly failed to stop the bloodshed of innocent Muslims.

I have always been pointing out why the powerful west has to plant wars only in the Muslim blocs. Why the ugly allegations of terrorism against the Muslims only in the country wherever people practice Islam?

In fact, the Muslim world needs to know that it is a well-planned conspiracy against practicing Muslims. It is continuing post-capitalism and communist clash in Afghanistan and the world has been witnessing that the Islam-practicing bloc is under intense pressure from the West. The economy of rich countries was destroyed starting from the Iraq-Kuwait war and followed by the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak and then attacking Iraq on fake grounds. Arab Spring was launched and we witnessed the killing of Gaddafi and his country continues to be in trouble even today.

The Saudi-Yemeni conflict is still on and has dragged almost the whole Middle East into this ongoing conflict and the other one is the Iran Gulf conflict. The Syrian tragedy and the rise of well-supported Daesh are bringing the plan to action on the advice of their masters. We are still facing terrorist acts by Daesh. On the other hand, the developing Muslim countries have been engulfed by G-7 countries through a well-designed debt trap programme. The international statistics show that almost all third-world Muslim countries are under the direct control of IMF and World Bank.

All money laundering allegations are against Muslim countries only. The IMF and World Bank are controlling these countries and the IMF knows how to shut their mouths. The major control of international finances by design is under the control of Jews syndicates. The Jews learned to take the control of the world economy after they were forced out of Germany.  They learned the way to control the economy and modern intelligence. In fact, there are the two right factors that are controlling the entire world. The time is proving that they have control of the economy and they have control over multiple intelligence nerves of the nations through the modern ways of communications. They have access both to the information and economy of the world.

I had written many times on the rise of Israel, but my article dated April 22, 2020 titled “Israel: Emerging might with rock-solid US backing” has become very relevant with my further in-depth arguments today. I wrote “Israel is now emerging as a mighty power due to solid support from the USA during the recent past. It seems that both the US and Israel have solidified their co-existence, and both are moving with a specific agenda and will continue to move the geopolitical era with a collective and joint strategy.”

What I had predicted has come true and further sadly proved in the UN session when 14 member states moved a resolution including Kuwait in favour of Palestine but which was vetoed by the American representative. The mighty US muted the voice of the majority and it was a reflection of what is happening in Gaza and what happened in Masjid Al-Aqsa. It is a matter of record that Palestine was part of the Ottoman Empire, Britain seized it after World War I and in 1947, Britain created a “national homeland for the Jewish people” in the territory of Palestine at the cost of the people of Palestine. It was a dispute created and there was no protection defined for the Arabs and this open-ended Balfour declaration created a mess that is now expanded and creating serious conflicting situations causing great sufferings for Palestine and turned into a massacre of oppressed people of Palestine. The Jewish population under the UK mandate increased from nine percent; to nearly 27 percent by 1935 with the immigration of European Jews under British allowance.

Israel was formally established after World War II when Holocaust became one of the major reasons for the Jews to have a separate homeland for themselves, who were massacred in Europe in the 1940s under the Nazi regime. Hence, the mass migration of Jews to Palestine was facilitated through the yearly migration of 10,000 Jews to Palestine.

Eventually, after WWII, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for Palestine to be divided between Arabs and Jews on November 29, 1947. This finally led to the establishment of Israel which went ahead as per the plan of the west.

This is the only country that came into through migration after increasing the population of Jews for the claim of a country. Israelis have become the most powerful player and now have an upper hand even on the US administration. Israel occupied 20 percent land; now it has grabbed more than 80 percent. The present genocide of Palestinians will pave Israel to make further demographic changes and grabbing more and more land belonging to Palestine. It should be worrying for the neighbouring countries as Israel may engulf some other countries also in the future. The Muslim world must take note of the motives of Israel against them as it will further dilute the unity within the Muslim world.

I have a question for my fellow countrymen and the intellectuals to enlighten that what is the reason that all the Muslim countries are not united as a Muslim Ummah and as a bloc of governments because every government has its compulsion by the west.

Those like Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Muhammad Anwar el-Sadat, and Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi were eliminated with unnatural deaths. Undoubtedly, the killing of all these Muslim leaders cannot be a coincidence but an operation to punish them and to give a message to the Muslim World. I feel the Muslims will not be allowed to have a strong platform as a strong Muslim Ummah will be able to bring an end to ongoing aggression and conspiracies against the Muslim bloc.

My above arguments lead to conclude that Jews supported by the west will continue to build their mighty Israel and genocide of Palestinians will continue and the influence of Israel will keep increasing in the Middle East by design and it may emerge as yet another policeman in this region.

The ongoing webinars with verbal strong messages on Palestine are of no use unless collective Muslim troops move from the neighbouring country to stand against Israel to stop the genocide of innocent women and children. This might have to be countered with bigger might and not with verbal weak support.

REHMAN MALIK PENS LETTER TO IAEA CHIEF, URGES TO TAKE SERIOUS NOTICE OF INDIAN NUCLEAR PROLIFERATION

Former Interior Minister and Chairman Institute of Research and Reforms (IRR) Senator A. Rehman Malik has urged the International Atomic Energy Agency  (IAEA) to take serious notice of continuous nuclear proliferation by India and probe into the incidents on urgent basis. He suggested the IAEA chief to call an emergency meeting inviting western countries cautioning about this new trend by India to bring uranium as one of the business commodities, being traded openly by private dealers.

In a letter to Mr. Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General International Atomic Energy Agency, he said “I would like to draw your kind attention to the combined seizure of 7.1 kg of highly enriched uranium from two citizens of India namely Jigar Jayesh Pandya and Abu Tahir Afzal Husain Choudhary, a scrap dealer, on 6 May 2021 in Mumbai”. He writes that it was not the first time that such a highly radioactive substance has been seized by police in recent years but in 2016; Indian police seized almost 9 kg (19.8 lbs) of depleted uranium in the Thane area of Maharashtra.  He says, it is, thus, evident that India has been found involved in illicit nuclear proliferation activities and uranium theft, as there is a history of unauthorised possession of radioactive material in India.

Making the letter public at a press conference, Rehman Malik said the present incident and many other incidents which have not yet been reported must be an eye-opener for the IAEA, as it has further endangered nuclear security especially when it is in the hands of an irresponsible extremist government in India. He stressed that timely warning and necessary legal action will enable to stop the Indian nuclear products from landing in the hands of terrorists. He urged that world must stop this new wave and mode of terrorism of these dirty bombs which will be too dangerous for the world and will frustrate all modern measures against terrorism.

He writes that the theft of uranium and its subsequent sale to unauthorised customers is not only dangerous for India, its neighbors but to whole world.  He added that seizure of enriched uranium from unauthorised persons in India has raised eyebrows in the world vis-à-vis the safety measures in place in India.  “Although India is not a signatory to Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), yet it was able to secure a waiver from IAEA owing to its supposedly falsely reported ‘excellent record in nuclear security”, he added.

For the proposed probe into sale of uranium in India, Rehman Malik in his letter has proposed some important points to save the world from the dirty bomb in the hands of terrorists. Those points include:

1.      A detailed investigation by IAEA because the present BJP government is controlled by extremists and cannot be trusted.

2.      All previous incidents of nuclear proliferation inside India needs to be made public as India always muted such incidents.

3.      The IAEA may call an emergency meeting inviting western countries cautioning about this new trend by India to bring uranium as one of the business commodities, being traded openly by private dealers. As a politician, I am sorry to note the double standards of the world community when it comes to Pakistan.  There has not been any reaction yet either from the UN, IAEA, or the international community including the USA over the incidents of seizure of uranium from private citizens of India.

4.      I request to refer the case of nuclear proliferation to FATF under your signature as it is too serious to be ignored and allowed to endanger the world as it is too serious issue and a bigger dirty bomb is bigger threat than actual terrorism and money laundering.

5.      It is high time that the safety measures adopted by India to safeguard the nuclear material against proliferation are reviewed by IAEA and the waiver granted to it is withdrawn forthwith, and in the meantime, a total freeze on the operation of these nuclear plants may be imposed.

6. All materials and equipment that was made available to India or resulting from the assistance provided to it under a comprehensive safeguards agreement should be sealed by the IAEA, and the IAEA should take over immediately for its safe custody. If India still refuses to comply, then any international military aid to India by other UN member states may be suspended and sanctions on the nuclear plants and staff are ordered under sanctions.

7. Kindly consider asking India as to why it has failed deliberately to report these gross violations to IAEA, hence India owes an explanation to the international community as to why it has failed under the law to report these matters.

8. India must be urged immediately to report this theft of Uranium within a given deadline. The other seizures must also be reported with private dealing in uranium to IAEA’s Incidents & Tracking Database (ITDB) after carrying out a thorough investigation under the supervision of members of the IAEA.

Chairman IRR Rehman Malik explains that the seizure of such a quantity of nuclear material from unauthorised persons speaks itself about the so-called claims of fool-proof safety of the Indian nuclear programme. “I am a close observer and familiar with nuclear-associated issues as I have remained a member of the National Control and command Authority of Pakistan being Interior Minister of Pakistan for five years” his letter reads.

He mentioned that in one of the international programmes of IAEA on nuclear proliferation in 2011 in Islamabad, wherein he was chief guest, he had warned the world about the Indian nuclear faulty security system having inadequate safety and security which is a matter of record. He stressed that the nuclear programme in India is in the hands of irresponsible and inexperienced civilians and the extremist government which is being governed by RSS who have their unethical motives in contrast to Pakistan’s outstanding nuclear safety and security record duly verified by the international monitoring watchdog.

Rehman Malik maintained that India has been a customer of the nuclear black market and it has become now business which means the supply of death by providing nuclear material for dirty bombs. He emphasized that unless India strictly regulates nuclear material, it would be considered complicit in the proliferation of nuclear material. He explains that under Article 39 of the UN Charter, it constitutes a direct threat to international peace and security, if a country is found to be noncompliant with its safeguards. Such loose state control shows that the India has to go a long way to become a responsible nuclear power and made member of NSG, he adds.

In his letter to IAEA chief, Rehman Malik pens that track record of India shows that it has been a customer in the nuclear black market and proliferation of nuclear material cannot happen without the active connivance of State operators hence India has proved itself as an irresponsible state. He added that India has to prove its credibility by enhancing the internal administration and security of its nuclear plants and also needs to bring stringent legislation by enhancing punishment on nuclear proliferation. The private dealing with uranium has to be prohibited otherwise every dirty bomb in the hands of terrorists and every non-state actor will be worse than Osama Bin Laden and Daesh, he concluded.

SENATOR A. REHMAN MALIK URGES PRESIDENT EU PARLIAMENT TO WITHDRAW ANT-PAKISTAN RESOLUTION

Former interior minister and Chairman Institute of Research and Reforms (IRR) Senator A. Rehman Malik has urged President European Parliament to withdraw its resolution against Pakistan and bring a resolution of economic sanctions against India also for misusing EU soil against for malicious, fake, and fabricated propaganda against Pakistan.

In a letter to President European Parliament David Maria Sassoli, he said the people of Pakistan are highly disturbed and shocked by the Resolution adopted by the European Parliament on 29 April 2021 calling for a review of trade relations with Pakistan and ending its eligibility for the Generalised Scheme of Preferences (GSP) status.

Making the letter public at a press conference, Mr. Malik said that interviews and public research conducted by Institute of Research and Reforms (IRR) shows that the people of Pakistan have taken the EU Parliament resolution as interference in the sovereignty of Pakistan. He said that they considered it highly discriminatory, interference in Pakistan's internal affairs, and against international interfaith harmony.

He said that the people of Pakistan have great respect for all religions including Christianity and there is no religious discrimination in Pakistan as people of all faiths have the freedom in teaching, practicing, worshiping, and celebrating their faiths and festivals without any fear.

Rehman Malik in his letter stressed that making legislation and its implementation is the sole sovereign right of any sovereign country and all Pakistani laws are made to satisfy its own national social justice system. He added the people of all faiths living in Pakistan and their rights are well protected in the Constitution of Pakistan.

“I would like to express that the European Union (EU) Parliament should have afforded a hearing to representatives from Pakistan or had at least heard the Pakistan ambassador in Belgium prior to bringing this resolution before Parliament”, his letter reads.

In his letter, Senator Malik writes that the people of Pakistan are concerned as to where was the EU Parliament when EU DisinfoLab based in EU had uncovered Indian propaganda of the highest intensity against Pakistan adding it is no more a secret that India had been using the soil of the EU against a sovereign state of Pakistan unchecked by EU which is against international laws.

He urged the President EU Parliament that the people of Pakistan expect a resolution from EU Parliament against India condemning the misuse of its soil for malicious propaganda against Pakistan and appeal EU to impose economic sanctions on India for this illegal act of breaching EU trust and have compromised the position of EU by using its soil to damage the interest of a fellow sovereign state.

In his letter, Rehman Malik has appealed the President to withdraw the Resolution against Pakistan passed on April 29, 2021 which is highly discriminatory.  He also appealed to bring a resolution of economic sanctions against India for misusing EU soil for malicious, fake, and fabricated propaganda against Pakistan and this action is owed by EU in the natural justice and to stop such repetition by India.

Absence of a withdrawal strategy by Senator A. Rehman Malik

US’ withdrawal from Afghanistan without a proper withdrawal strategy will be very detrimental for Afghanistan and may give rise yet to another monster-like terrorist organisation worse than Al-Qaeda. Daesh and its sponsors will have a great opportunity like in Iraq wherein the USA withdrawal gave room to them to grow and strengthen. Hence the world has to be watchful of any new terrorist monster emerging from Afghanistan. Pakistan has already suffered the maximum because of a troubled Afghanistan and it is perhaps the first country in the world that has suffered because of mistakes and interests of other countries, as neither the USSR taking over Afghanistan nor the creation of the Mujahideen force was Pakistan’s mistake.

Afghanistan became first the victim of the USSR and faced unprecedented and terrible suffering. When the Soviet tanks rolled into Afghanistan in 1979, threatening the free world’s frontiers, Pakistan stood by the USA and fought one of the most significant guerrilla wars that routed the Soviets from Afghanistan. But in return, Pakistan bore the brunt of unbridled militancy and a tide of millions of Afghan refugees, which to date remains an unbearable burden on Pakistan’s economy. The ungoverned space left behind by the USA provided space of all sorts to non-state actors who infiltrated Pakistan through its long Pak-Afghan borders. Militants who had been radicalised to function as ferocious Jihadists were threatening Pakistan’s internal stability, and plunging its economy, while freely mingling with the Afghan refugees, and providing breeding grounds for today’s Al-Qaeda and it was a matter of time that this all would blowback, and it did on 9/11. It was unfortunate and barbaric that despite the fact that none of the actors was a Pakistani, or Afghan, nor trained or incubated in Pakistan or Afghanistan, yet, Pakistan was branded as Al-Qaeda’s sympathiser.

The USA left without a proper withdrawal plan last time which resulted in Mujahedeen transforming into Taliban and subsequently to Al-Qaeda. The 9/11 attack brought another devastating effect on Afghanistan and Pakistan and American pressure forced Pakistan to provide logistics and other war support and it was a blunder on the part of the then Pakistani leadership to succumb to the pressure of the USA.

These two mistakes basically have driven Pakistan to the verge of bankruptcy because of the forced stopping of our developments and foreign investments and it will take a long time for us to emerge out of these crises. President Joe Biden has given a usual generic statement to withdraw all US forces from Afghanistan by September 11, 2021 which we had seen multiple times earlier coming from almost every newly elected American President which is a matter of public record.

However, I welcome the statement of President Joe Biden as it is a sigh of great relief for this region particularly for Pakistan as our Army, under the command of Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, has carried out tireless efforts for peace in Afghanistan as it is important for peace in Pakistan and the whole region. The Americans at the highest level recognise Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa’ efforts towards Afghan peace process.

I have already given my hypothetical model of Afghanistan after the American withdrawal. This withdrawal without a proper withdrawal strategy will provide a straight opportunity for the Taliban to rise unhindered to make their government under the flag of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The local Afghan forces of President Ashraf Ghani will not be able to resist the marching Taliban towards Kabul. Taliban leaders are even of the view that they have won the war already as they even did not attend the peace conference in Afghanistan. The future Taliban roadmap can be well judged from the statement of Sirajuddin Haqqani, deputy leader of Taliban who recently stated: “that one day we would face such an improved state, or that we will crush the arrogance of the rebellious emperors, and force them to admit their defeat at our hands. Fortunately, today, we and you are experiencing better circumstances.”

The Taliban will turn Afghanistan into a mass graveyard if President Ashraf Ghani offers any resistance to the takeover of the Afghan Taliban.

The USA must also keep in mind the past ultra-destructive role of India and other interested parties in Afghanistan. President Ashraf Ghani must come out with a mutually agreed plan of some interim government with the nominees of Taliban and create an atmosphere of some peaceful transition rather than creating an environment of bloodshed.

Pakistan has been trying and will continue to try to work for peace in Afghanistan and I am confident that COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa will do his best by convincing both sides to give peace a chance in the follow-up of his doctrine displayed in the Afghan Peace Agreement of Qatar.

Pakistan is always there for Afghan brothers and sisters for all kinds of support to see peace returning to their motherland. I have seen physical miseries of Afghan people during my undercover exile journey through the remote areas by foot and some journeys on broken jeeps through the destroyed roads by the USSR. Poverty and fears on the faces of Afghans were disturbing and let us hope soon Afghanis will have a smile on their faces and once again they all will live together. I wish to drive through peaceful Afghanistan to refresh my memories and see those unknown Afghans who were very helpful. I appeal to Mr Sirajuddin Haqqani and President Ashraf Ghani to sit in a country and work to give a peaceful governing system before the fleeing of those who matter nowadays as I feel the diplomats will also leave the country because of the expected civil war. I have few suggestions for the consideration of US President Joe Bidden and his Secretary of State to avoid civil war post-US withdrawal from Afghanistan. My suggestions are based on my observation after the withdrawal of US forces post-USSR defeat.

1.     USA to consider ensuring a one-to-one meeting of President Ashraf Ghani and Sirajuddin Haqqani with the pre-agreed future roadmap.

2.     Ask the UN to deploy a peacekeeping mission to enforce peace.

3.     Establish an interim government representing all factions of Taliban and the present government and others.

4.     Undertaking from Taliban that they will not dismantle the female schools.

5.     Let the interim government be for one year and it should be headed by a mutually agreed non-controversial leader equally respected and having a good working relationship with all stakeholders.

6.     India must be kept away from this withdrawal strategy to avoid its negative role.

7.     Pakistan, China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia may be taken on board as observers of peace.

8.     Sufficient rehabilitation funding should be announced for the rebuilding of basic infrastructure and educational institutions.

9.     The UN must pass a resolution prohibiting certain actions by the Taliban-led coalition government.

My final advice for the American administration to withdraw from Afghanistan but work out a withdrawal plan in place while leaving Afghanistan.

Interview: Senator Rehman Malik hails formation of UN team to probe COVID-19 outbreak

ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister and senior leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ex-Senator Abdul Rehman Malik claimed that Secretary General United Nations ordered the inquiry into COVID-19 by constituting high powered committee headed by former prime minister of New Zealand Ms. Helen Clark who will assisted by 40 experts from UN and other countries.

“Let us see what would be the outcome of the investigations by biologists and doctors,” he said in an interview with The News. Rehman Malik said it is in the interest of humanity that this investigation has started to determine the zero patient and nature of this virus. He mentioned that he was the one in the whole world who requested in writing to probe the nature of this virus.

He appreciated the Secretary General United Nations for this great step against many odds. “The world will be looking forward to see the outcome of this investigation by the high powered team,” he said. Rehman Malik said soon after the outbreak of COVID-19, he wrote a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on 4th April 2020, to constitute a high-powered commission to probe if COVID-19 is a man-made or a naturally grown virus and to locate its origin. “I had suggested that the proposed commission on COVID-19 under the UN Convention on Biological Weapons, 1975 which might comprise virologists, scientists, professors, researchers, analysts, and experts in the fields of microbiology and virology,” he said. He said he had suggested that the commission should present its report to the UN Secretary-General in at the earliest, and its ‘terms of reference’ (ToR) should include recommendations to prevent future outbreak of such viruses, and international standards for coordination in case of a outbreak.

He said in his letter, he had demanded seven ToRs for the UN Commission on COVID-19, which include accurate identification of the geo-location of the origin of COVID-19, identification of areas with zero patient, discovery as to why the behaviour, intensity, and fertility rate of COVID-19 varies from country to country; investigation whether COVID-19 is a man-made or naturally-grown virus and examination of the allegations of transportation of the virus from one place to other destinations in the world, as ‘biological warfare tactics.

Rehman Malik said he had also written a letter to Bill Gates to assist the UN through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as he had given categorical statements about such a virus will kill numerous people while speaking at various international forums in 2015 & 2017.

He said Nobel Laureate and Distinguished Professor Tasuku Honjo of the Kyoto University Institute of Advanced Study, reportedly, has stated that all indicators of the COVID-19 suggest that it is a man-made virus. “He has even claimed that in case he is proven wrong, he will surrender his Nobel Prize and if he is not proven right then the government of Japan withdraws his award post his death,” he said.

Senator Rehman Malik said he warned people of Pakistan in March, this year that pattern of this virus shows that second wave would be bad and third will be bad to worse. ‘I had advised the government to increase beds, oxygen and all required medicines and other medical equipment but the government did not act on the advice,” he said.
